What are Featured ads?
Featured ads are ads that appear in the special Featured ads section at the top of a category's page. More people read and reply to these ads because of their prominent position on the first page of a category over a long time period. While posting ads on Inkiti is free, featuring an ad requires the payment of a small fee.

What are the benefits of featuring my ad?
Featuring your ad makes it appear in the Featured ads section. This section appears at the top of a category's page for either 3 or 7 days. Featured ads get more visitors and more replies than other ads on Inkiti. This helps you sell an item quicker, get more exposure for your service, and so on. As well, ads that are featured continue to appear within the regular category and search listings after your ad is no longer featured.

How can I feature my ad?
To feature a new ad, post an ad and then click the "Feature Your ad" button that is found near the "Post your ad" button on the confirmation page. To feature an existing ad, click the "Feature ad" link found in the email that was sent to you when you posted an ad. Alternatively you can feature your ad using the "Feature ad" link found on the My ads page in My Inkiti.

How much do I have to pay to feature my ad?
Posting ads on Inkiti is free. However featuring an ad costs a small fee :

Why can't I see my ad featured in the Featured ad section?
At most 5 ads will show up in the Featured ad section. If there are more than 5 such ads in a category, then the extra Featured ads will be hidden for a few minutes. After a few minutes those ads will then show up with other ads being hidden. This rotation system is setup to ensure that your ad is exposed to as many Inkiti users as possible.

What payment methods are accepted to feature an ad?
You can pay for a Featured ad using a PayPal account or Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa AMEX or Discover). All payments are securely processed through our payment partner. You can also pay by cheque or bank transfer.

My ad was deleted. Will my fees be reimbursed?
Featured ad fees are non-refundable. If you have deleted your ad or if the ad was deleted for violating the site policies, then the fees paid to feature the ad will not be refunded.

Can I feature the same ad in more than one category?
You can only feature an ad in the category the ad was posted in. However the ad will also be featured in the category's parent. For example if an ad was featured in the "computers" category then it will also appear in the parent "buy & sell" category.

How can I feature an ad that is already posted on the site?
To feature an existing ad, click the "Feature ad" link found in the email that was sent to you when you posted an ad (You can click here to get this email resent to you). Alternatively you can feature your ad using the "Feature ad" link found on the My ads page in My Inkiti.

How many Featured ads are displayed at one time?
You may see between 1 to 5 Featured ads at a time.
