PROCUREMENT OFFICER / BUYER

The Role....

• All aspects of the Procurement/Buying function (IT hardware/software)
• Creating high specification Quotations
• Sourcing, negotiation, costing and calculating margins
• Dealing with general internal & external queries
• Building and maintaining good Supplier relationships

The person we are looking for must IDEALLY have....

• Minimum of 1-2 years PURCHASING experience
• Experience of Microsoft and Symantec business licensing
• Working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Office packages
• Knowledge and understanding of servers, pcs, hardware and components
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills, both written and verbal
• Extreme attention to detail
• Flexibility, reliability & trustworthiness
• Ability to work both in a team and individually
• Ability to work under extreme pressure and to very tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
