Yellow Umbrella Day – free community festival - Sunday 21^st September 2008

Now in its sixth year, Yellow Umbrella Day is Chiswick’s largest annual charity event and Chiswick Park’s celebrated community festival.

We are raising money for three children’s charities; The Children’s Cookery School – Helping disadvantaged kids to cook with fresh ingredients, The Log Cabin - an inclusive adventure playground and The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice – providing care for terminally ill children.

Highlights this year include live music from U2 tribute band - Elevation, and 2 local bands, Two Spot Gobi and Cushh.  There will be a BBQ and Bar, Cake Bake Contest, Street Performers, a Circus Skill Workshop, Insect Circus Museum and Characters, Treasure Hunt, Pony Rides, Mask Making, Giant Games, Bouncy Castle, Face-painting and more.

There is also a sponsored 5KM walk and a 10KM run that start and finish at Chiswick Park.

We are also holding a Grand Prize Draw with the chance to win amazing prizes including a Family Holiday to Disneyland Paris, a private screening for you and 53 of your friends in Paramount’s exclusive Chiswick Park Cinema, a Meal for two at the Union Chiswick and many more prizes.
