I was at home looking after my son and had lost all confidence in my abilities. Although I kept in touch with daily issues and knew how to use the internet and email, employers were cold at the thought of a mum returning to work with no skills and no training. All my previous experience was out of date. I enrolled at Miss Reception to try and get back into office life through another door. The course was amazing and my trainer was fantastic! At the age of 55 I was pretty much feeling redundant and out of sorts, I felt that every reception job I applied for did not want to hire someone of my age.
