We are currently planning to Recruit a Graphic
Design Assistant in our high-street Crouch End Print and Copy Bureau Shop.

The position involves working with both Apple
Mac and PC platforms, designing and producing
a wide range of Stationery, Flyers, Brochures,
Booklets and Poster items.

A good, working, knowledge of various graphic
software such as Photoshop, Quark Xpress,
Illustrator and the creation and editing of
Acrobat PDF files is essential along with
experience of Microsoft desktop applications
such as Publisher, Word and Excel.

This is a full-time position and previous
experience of working in a Print Shop
environment, either here in the UK, or
abroad, would be a distinct advantage.

The successful applicant will be required to
assume responsibility for the operation, control
and maintenance of our Xerox, Canon, Ricoh and
Linotronic digital and litho printing equipment
(initial training will be given). Duties will also
include dealing directly with customers at the
shop counter, including photocopying, binding,
folding, trimming, stapling and packing.

Our location, and the nature of our business as
a High-Street Print and Copy Shop, means there
will be constant interaction with customers, both
in person, and on the telephone . . . so good
communication skills, an excellent command of
both written and spoken English and a patient,
polite manner will be essential.
