The group is made up of about sixty writers who meet twice a month to discuss their writing: there are poets, novelists, playwrights, scriptwriters, historians, philosophers: it is a rich mix that makes a lively evening.

We meet every first and third Wednesday of the month from 7:00 till 9:00 at Garfield Community Centre, 64 Garfield Rd, London, SW11 5PN.  There is a small £2 charge per person to cover the cost of the room.  For directions, see our website www.theoriginalwriter.com

Even if you are just starting out and just interested in writing but with nothing to read, come along and experience the evening. Sometimes the best motivation to writing is to hear how others got there before you.
