We at Face2Face Baby Scans specialise in providing ultrasound scans using equipment so advanced that it gives you a more realistic three dimensional image of your unborn baby.

Our appointments last around 45 minutes which gives you plenty of time to bond with your baby as you meet them for the first time. The sonographer will use 2D as in your routine scans to determine your baby\'s position, presentation etc. and switches to 3D when your baby\'s position is favourable for a 3D image.

The optimum time for a 3D/4D ultrasound is between 24 and 34 weeks with the best results seen around 27 to 33 weeks. After 34 weeks, the baby begins to get a little squished and may be facing the spine, which is the position for birth.

The experience is emotional and very exciting as you get to meet with your little treasure before they enter the big world.
