Who is this NVQ Level 2 for?

Team Leaders and Managers in a wide variety of areas

This NVQ is aimed at candidates who are in work roles where they have a responsibility for the work of others as they lead a team.

To gain the full NVQ all four mandatory units plus two optional units must be achieved.

Mandatory Units:

·                                 Provide leadership for your team

·                                 Develop productive working relationships with colleagues

·                                 Ensure your own action reduce risks to health and safety

Duration and Cost

Management NVQ Level 3


Who is this NVQ in Management Level 3 for?

Managers and Team Leaders and in a wide variety of areas

This NVQ is aimed at those who are responsible for the con-trol of activities and work output of a team.


To achieve a full award, candidates must complete four mandatory units and three optional units

Mandatory Units:

·                                 Manage your own resources and professional development

·                                 Provide leadership in your area of responsibility

·                                 Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility

·                                 Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility


Duration and Cost:

·                                 6-9 months flexible

·                                 Free (Eligibility criteria apply)


Assessment for Level 2 and 3:

Like all NVQs, this qualification is competence-based. This means that it is linked to a person's ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work.

 

 

NVQ IN BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATION

 

Level 2

 

This course is ideal for office juniors and administrators.

Mandatory Units

To attain the full NVQ qualification learners must achieve the following two manatory units, plus three optional units:

·                                 Carry out your responsibilities at work.

·                                 Work within your business environment.



Optional Units

Many optional units are available, of which three have to be achieved with the two mandatory units. Please discuss these with us when you start:

·                                 Spreadsheet software.

·                                 Operate office equipment.

·                                 Prepare text from notes.

·                                 Prepare text from shorthand.

NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration

This course is designed to reflect the most up-to-date business theory and practice and will enable you to assess your knowledge and increase your contribution to the workplace. It is particularly aimed at those who have completed the Level 2 certificate or have equivalent experience.

Mandatory Units

This qualification requires the successful completion of five mandatory units and four optional units. The five mandatory units are:

·                                 Maintaining effective working relationships.

·                                 Contributing to the maintenance of a healthy, safe and productive work environment.

·                                 Managing your work and development.

·                                 Contributing to coordinating administrative services.



Assessment Guidelines

Oral or written questions will be used to check your knowledge and provide you with guidance and support to complete the Cumulative Assessment Record required.

Mandatory Units

To gain the full NVQ qualification learners must complete the two following mandatory units, plus four optional ones (at least three from Group B).

·                                 Plan, organise and support meetings.

·                                 Make a presentation.

·                                 Organise and coordinate events.
