Senior Manager of Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing Consultancy

Salary: Maximum £90,000 plus Car Allowance, Bonus and extensive benefits

THE COMPANY AND SITUATION:

One of the biggest names in the world of professional services requires those with a background in leading and delivering Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing Consulting assignments to take a leading role in their Business Intelligence Team. This team is a world-class facility assisting clients across a broad range of sectors to carry out their strategy by optimising their use of Management Information and Business Intelligence. This is a new position as the team has been very successful, is currently experiencing a large demand for its services and hence is required to expand rapidly.

THE ROLE:

This is a senior position taking a lead role in large client programmes. The role is a mix of project delivery duties and business development. You’ll be developing innovative solutions that will expand the company’s Business Intelligence capability as a whole. Your responsibilities will also include leading business development opportunities, including bid proposal.

THE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Absolutely essential for this role are the following:

• A proven track record of selling large-scale consultancy projects & services (£1m & above)
• Commercial Business Intelligence consulting experience: You must have experience of working for a service provider such as a consultancy, software house, or systems integrator delivering large-scale Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing projects to external end-user clients.

Please note the above are essential: You require both of the above to be eligible for this role.

In addition, you will need experience in one or more of the following: (the more you possess, the better!)

• Enterprise Information Achitecture experience specifically in Business Intelligence
• Data Modelling – both normalised and dimensional modelling
• Knowledge of  the RDBMS, Data Warehouse Appliance, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Project Management (EPM) market
• Related Business Intelligence experience in Data Governance, Business Analytics, Master Data Management & Information Integration including Data Quality and Data Management
• Experience in Business Intelligence Applications, Data Warehouse Technologies and ETL tools as: Hyperion, Business Objects, Cognos, other OLAP tools, SAS, Teradata, Informatica, etc.
