Hello to all parents!

 

I am  the Nanny-Angel called Laura (yes, the 1st version to pronounce it is the Italian way since my Mom was reading lots of Italian poems while expecting me  ;)  ).

 

Well, since I always find myself thinking that “what to put up here for the families?” then at first I shall just tell you the quick details that I have noticed most people want to know about their nannies.  –

 

I speak and write excellent English for many reasons – I have studied it at schools ever since I was 8; have international friends; watch tv and read books/magazines, and in general, do what most curious people would do in order to get to know the world a lot better.

 

I have 3 UK-based references.

 

I am First Aid trained (Red Cross certificate).

 

Valid CRB Check.

 

By my nationality I’m an Estonian (EU member) yet naturally, I see myself as a citizen of the world. J

 

I have sole charge experience with children within age group 1-10 years. Both, girls and boys.

 

My personality is very responsible, kindhearted, friendly, sociable, creative and “sunshine”-like. I adore children of all ages and sizes ;) and understand what it means to be one so I always try my best to find answers to their questions. Being curious is healthy and, yes, clothes do get dirty while attending outdoor activities – I see it all as a part of childhood and strongly advise people to let their children become more and more independent and “hands-on” with the world.

 

It’s extremely important to encourage children to open themselves up and find their true talents and passion. Since I am myself very creative – I am crazy for painting and writing and all things artistic – it’s fairly easy to find ways to express oneself. Doing all that with children is lots of fun and through them I can experience my own inner child again and again. Fabolous feeling it is indeed!
