FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

WildWind Launches New Tours of the Southwest;

Will Lead Rides to Burning Man Festival; Tombstone

SEDONA, AZ WildWind Motorcycle Tours has announced its latest ride of the red rock wonderlands, national monuments, secret canyons  and hidden treasures of the great Southwest. This May, the operator will lead the Ride Around The Maypole tour, a special guided program of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, Canyonlands and Arches national parks, Monument Valley, and Canyon de Chelly, among other fantastic destinations, from its base in Sedona, AZ.

          Clients can use their own bike, ride as passenger with one of WildWinds professional tour guides, or a rental bike will be provided. The seven day/six-night Ride Around The Maypole tour kicks off from Sedona May 21 with a ride up spectacular Oak Creek  Canyon, returning to Sedona May 27.

The 1,225-mile tour will stop to experience some of the Southwests off-the-ridden-road hidden treasures. Participants will be treated to some of the most scenic, soul-shaking roads in the world, ancient Indian ruins, spectacular canyons, old trading posts and much more of this timeless land that was once at the bottom of the sea. Winding back through the great Navajo Reservation, the tour concludes where it began, amid the erosion-sculptured rocks, clear creeks and spiritual vortices of Sedona.

Meanwhile, WildWind will lead a unique tour to the Burning Man Festival, held annually on a playa in the Nevada desert August 25 to September 1. Sturgis should be this much fun. Burning Man can only be described a once-in-a-lifetime, must-see-to-be-believed event, a mix of Halloween, Woodstock and the most captivating and intoxicating, clothes-optional interactive arts festival imaginable (visit www.burningman.com for event pictures and information). Space is limited on WildWinds Return to Burning Man program.

The Town to tough to die, Tombstone, AZ, has been added to the WildWind experience as part of its southern Arizona Good Guys and Gunslingers tour, visiting the Wild Wests bawdiest saloons, brothels and bad guy haunts, as well as the spectacular scenery of Chiricahua National Monument, Patagonia and others. Wyatt Earp has got nothing on us.

Tours vary in duration and price. For reservations and more information about these fully guided programs, call WildWind Motorcycle Tours at 602-690-2864; visit www.WildWindMCTours.com
