THE COMPANY AND SITUATION:

 

One of the country’s top accountancy firms is currently seeking a self-motivated, confident and reliable individual to provide marketing administration support for their Restructuring and Recovery team based in Watford.

 

The purpose of this role is to assist the Business Development Management team with administrative, research, marketing, events management and database maintenance duties.

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

The experience required for this role is as follows:

 

  • Previous experience in administration for a marketing team

  • Educated to ‘GCSE’ level with at least grade B in Maths and English

  • A good level of I.T. literacy in Microsoft office packages (Outlook, Excel and Word)

  • Good analytical and organisational skills

  • Good people skills – this is about communication at all levels and the ability to negotiate

 

Please note the above experience is essential – you require all of the above to be eligible for this role.

 

Desirable, though not essential, are any of the following:

 

  • Proven track record in event management

  • Previous experience in Sales Logix system

  • Previous experience in Fame search tools

 

 

THE ROLE:

 

Your main purpose in this role is to provide administrative and marketing support to the Business Development Management team. In this role your responsibilities will include research and analysis of the client base, competitors and target markets, events support, marketing activity, contact database maintenance and other administrative duties. You will be required to administer promotional activity such as PR, advertising and mailings, organise seminars, lunches and other marketing events. You will be also involved in the telemarketing campaign development, staff meetings and minutes taking, as well as managing case studies, testimonials and questionnaires.
