Back in 2000, brothers Mark and Jamie Antoniades conceived j-me, launching with a small collection of simple and timeless designs for the home. The products unify functionality, wittiness and aesthetics and today, j-me’s range brings creativity and quirkiness to any home, with such products as its famous his and hers key holders, iconic cassette tape dispenser and classic city time zone clocks.

The design studio/HQ is based in the World Famous OXO Tower Building, London and we have a separate warehouse/distribution centre. At the design studio there are currently the 2 partners Jamie & Mark + 2 design assistants.

Due to growth plans we have created this new role. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and help develop more efficient ways of running day-to-day aspects of the business and marketing strategy.

sales / clients

·          processing all orders, invoices + delivery notes

·          solving customer queries

·          soft sales to prospective and existing accounts

·          chasing overdue payments

·          monthly sales reports

·          managing and constant update of client database

marketing / exhibitions

·          Coordination of e-marketing and direct mail marketing

·          Dealing with magazine editors, coordinating PR and preparing press releases

·          Organisation and coordination of exhibitions

stock / warehouse

·          management/coordination of warehouse

·          organising transportation + liaising with all couriers etc

sub-contractors (as job evolves)

·          confirming orders qty’s

·          chasing schedules + arranging payments

financial

·          basic book keeping and updating of database

·          VAT returns (experience not required) + general banking

misc skills

·          good problem solver and ability to use own initiative

·          strong administration/multi tasking skills

·          excellent use of Microsoft office (esp. experienced in excel – formulas etc)

·          professional phone manner and excellent use of the English language

·          a strong character with grit-determination

·          possess humour and be open minded
