Busy food led JD Wetherspoon pub requires Kitchen Associates/Pub Cooks, Kitchen Supervisors, and a Kitchen Manager for this rather unique pub. We are situated airside (only reachable by passengers flying out of the country) at Terminal 2, Heathrow Airport.

Before reading on, due to security legislation, we can only employ people who have a valid passport or photo driving license, a permanent National Insurance Number, are free of criminal convictions, and can provide contact details for referees who can confirm their last 5 years work/education/travelling, etc. You will also need a bank account. Experience not required for Kitchen staff, as full training given. Kitchen Supervisors MUST have supervisory experience, for at least 12 months, in a similar, busy environment. Kitchen Manager will need at least 18 months experience in a supervisory/management role, at a similar, busy food operation, and have experience of COSHH, HACCP, H & S legislation, etc.

The pub opens at 5am every day, and closes at 9.30/10pm (shifts between 4am & 11pm), with food served all day, so we need people who are flexible, and live within reasonable travelling time of Heathrow Airport. Full and part-time hours available, between 20 and 46 hours per week. All positions are live-out. Genuine and encouraged career development is available for the right candidates.

We have a diverse customer base of business people, celebrity\'s, football and rugby fans, stag/hen parties, holiday-makers, etc., travelling mostly to mainland Europe.

We offer hot and cold food, from 2 comprehensive menus, one served from 5am to Midday, the other from Midday to 9.30pm. Dishes include traditional English breakfast, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, burgers, curries, pasta.

The starting rate is £6.25p/h (£6.75 for Supervisors). Kitchen Manager is negotionable, and is dependant on experience. Payrises are achieved during training. All staff get a monthly bonus, up to 17% of their earnings; free meals during breaks; discount at all Wetherspoon pubs; and we run various weekly incentives, etc.
