My client is a Pharmaceutical organisation based in Acton. They are looking for a receptionist to join the microbiology department. You will be working five days a week covering the hours of 12-8 pm. Main duties include
• Collection of microbiological samples from site reception and couriers on arrival
• Registration of samples onto the database according to client specification
• Liaising with clients to ensure requirements are met
• Maintaining cleanliness of own area and aseptic technique when processing samples.
• Labeling samples and store in appropriate place ready for analyses
• Maintaining Quality records for own area
• Delivering samples with appropriate paperwork to other sections of the company.
The person must be IT literate a good communicator with good attention to detail, ideally with a scientific background (this is not essential). Flexibility in work hours due to sample deliveries may be required with occasional weekend cover.
First interviews are held in Holborn. We are looking for someone who can start straight away on a temp basis. For the correct candidate this role can turn into a permanent contract. The permanent salary will be between £14-15,000
